Easter 2013

We are so incredibly lucky and it is weekends like the one we just had that are reminders of how blessed we truly are for the sacrifice our Saviour, Jesus made for us by washing us of our sins when He died on the cross.

He is Risen! 

Our long Easter weekend started on Good Friday.  Daycare was closed for the day and Matt was stuck in a work meeting so I decided to take a vacation day so Grant and I could have our mommy and Grant day at The Place for Kids in Appleton.

 

On Saturday, we colored our Easter eggs and celebrated Matt's sister's birthday.

First thing Easter morning, Grant was able to hunt for his Easter basket.

We then went to the sunrise service at our church.

And upon arriving home, Grant was able to look for some Easter eggs stashed in the basement by the Easter bunny.

After a nap, we were off to Matt's grandma's house to celebrate with his mom's side of the family where Grant got to search for more Easter eggs!
